Thanksgiving

These pictures from Thanksgiving are backwards. She is not sleeping(a slow blink) but is getting sleepy. We had a great thanksgiving and hope you all had one to.

Changes

It has been a busy week at our house to start off with Abi's party huge success but busy. Then on Monday we decided to make some changes that were necessary to that house and long over due. Bill took the week off so it worked out great. The first picture is what our formal (prior formal) living room now looks like we moved the tv out there for us to watch tv now. This is what it looked like in the family room with the tv in it. I will miss the tv in here when it comes to cooking but it is much better where it is now.
This is the eat in kitchen area that we are going to use for me to due scrap booking.

What did our family room become we... Abigail's playroom we
were being crowed out so it was a good move for all we have a tv that is now in there smaller one for a dvd movie if we want to use it, plus we had no room for it and selling it we won't get any money for it so here it sets. I did open it up a lot and Abi does like and uses it.

Playing with New Toys

The ball popper she found a new way to play with it. She catches the balls as they are popping out.

Abigails first Birthday Party

Yesterday was a big day for us as we had a party for Abigail's first Birthday there are a lot of pictures, but the family was not able to make it so these are for them. It was a small get together but fun the children decorated cookies and were able to take the home with them. We opened presents and ate pizza and cake. My good friend Amanda came over and we baked 11 dozen cookies (didn't realize it was that many) and decorated 5 dozen. Abi did great especially since she only had an hour nap in the morning. After everyone left she did get a hour nap (I woke her as it was already 5 pm and didn't want her to sleep to long and not go down for bed)
Pretty cookies

Abigail's cake that we ate.
The cake I baked for Abi to destroy.
The first dress that we had to change out of, Abi couldn't crawl in it she would slip.
Looking at books with daddy before the excitement began.
Hanging with my best buddy Rylee. Looks like they are up to no good.
Kisses.
Hugs

Growing up Abi

Abigail is getting bigger all the time and just in the last couple of weeks she has started to do lots of new things. To start with she is self feeding with a fork by herself (more on that down further) and she finally decided not to use mommy and daddy to pull herself up and started to do it on her own now whatever she finds she will use that to pull herself up on even the patio door. She is even inching along the couch. That one she just started and I don't think she knows that she is doing it. So hard to believe on Saturday she will be turning 1 already. I will try hard to get the pictures up fast for those.

Girls Day out

I know this is a blog for Abi, but I wanted to post these pictures of some dear friends of mine. On Saturday I got to get out without the blue eyed princess (daddy watched her and said he was tired) Any way I met these girls while I worked for Child Parent Centers (Head Start) Only ones still there is Sandra but she is in a different position so no longer at the center where we started our great friendship. We went to the Arizona Inn and had lunch and lots of laughs. Cheering with our water to rinse our hands off.
Martha is being silly and drinking hers.

Sandra is eating her mint mmmmmm good.

Kathy is going to eat her lemmon.

The four of us out by the gardens.
