Abigails first Birthday Party

Yesterday was a big day for us as we had a party for Abigail's first Birthday there are a lot of pictures, but the family was not able to make it so these are for them. It was a small get together but fun the children decorated cookies and were able to take the home with them. We opened presents and ate pizza and cake. My good friend Amanda came over and we baked 11 dozen cookies (didn't realize it was that many) and decorated 5 dozen. Abi did great especially since she only had an hour nap in the morning. After everyone left she did get a hour nap (I woke her as it was already 5 pm and didn't want her to sleep to long and not go down for bed)
Pretty cookies

Abigail's cake that we ate.
The cake I baked for Abi to destroy.
The first dress that we had to change out of, Abi couldn't crawl in it she would slip.
Looking at books with daddy before the excitement began.
Hanging with my best buddy Rylee. Looks like they are up to no good.
Kisses.
Hugs

Growing up Abi

Abigail is getting bigger all the time and just in the last couple of weeks she has started to do lots of new things. To start with she is self feeding with a fork by herself (more on that down further) and she finally decided not to use mommy and daddy to pull herself up and started to do it on her own now whatever she finds she will use that to pull herself up on even the patio door. She is even inching along the couch. That one she just started and I don't think she knows that she is doing it. So hard to believe on Saturday she will be turning 1 already. I will try hard to get the pictures up fast for those.

Girls Day out

I know this is a blog for Abi, but I wanted to post these pictures of some dear friends of mine. On Saturday I got to get out without the blue eyed princess (daddy watched her and said he was tired) Any way I met these girls while I worked for Child Parent Centers (Head Start) Only ones still there is Sandra but she is in a different position so no longer at the center where we started our great friendship. We went to the Arizona Inn and had lunch and lots of laughs. Cheering with our water to rinse our hands off.
Martha is being silly and drinking hers.

Sandra is eating her mint mmmmmm good.

Kathy is going to eat her lemmon.

The four of us out by the gardens.

Lets Eat

This video is a little backwards but it was hard getting one of her putting the fork to her mouth and getting food on the fork. But yes she is self feeding she just took the fork out of my hand the other night and did it herself she is so independent.

Playing with my Daddy

Hello some more pictures for the morning of Halloween. I played peek-a-boo with daddy for awhile he was on the couch and I was on the floor when he would look at me I would duck my head so he couldn't see me. I would even try to surprise attach him it was so much fun. I also have taken over Javas pink monkey she never really liked it and I think it is so soft, it will go alot of places with me. Did someone say CHeeZZZZZZ

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! When I woke up that morning my plan was for Abi to wear this shirt she got from Grandma Jean & Grandpa Waldo. My friend had asked me earlier that week if she was going to put on the lady bug costume which I told her I gave it back because a friend of hers who had a baby last Halloween needed it (ok since Abi was still a month away from being born) Well I never and so does Amanda remember getting it back so last night Abi was a lady bug. Yes there are alot of pictures but what can I say I have a bunch of cute ones in the shirt from yesterday morning but will put those up tomorrow.
